About Dragonite

Dragonite is a light orange dragon with a pair of small wings that are teal on the inside. A short horn sits on its head while two thin antennae can be seen on either side. It's round in apearence, likely to help it keep warm while flying over the ocean and through storms. Its small wings are incredibly powerful, being able to carry Dragonite around the globe in only 16 hours, which is faster than the speed of sound! This pokemon is thought to be just as smart as humans are. Dragonite are also incredibly hard to find in the wild.

Dragonite are known to help those lost at sea, guiding ships to land and saving people who are drowing, earning it the nicknames "sea guardian" and "Sea Incarnate". Ships are sometimes made with a Dragonite figurehead at the front because of this.

They can be extremely destructive if angered, usually only calming down once whatever caused its rage is destroyed. Typiclly, a wild Dragonite is only angered by threats to its home. They're sometimes seen fighting in huge battles against the Water/Dragon type pokemon, Kingdra, in the wild.
