Welcome to the OCverse!

This is a webring and directory for sites where people share their OCs! Whether your OC is a self insert for your favorite show or a character you made for your very own universe, all OCs are welcome here!

What is a webring?

A webring is a list of a bunch of sites that all share something in common, and then are connected together by linking to other sites on the list to form a ring of sites. This helps other people find more sites they may be interested in a way a search engine wouldn't be able to. This webring uses a widget that automaticly update all the links for everyone when people join and leave the ring, so the only person who needs to keep track of who links to who is the ring runner (me).

What is an OC?

OC is short for Original Character. As it says in the name, they are characters that are original to you! Many OCs are created based on diffrent kinds of media while some have their very own original worlds!

RULES:

1. You must have at least one page for an OC. The page doesn't need to be 100% finished, but it needs to at least have something about your OC. I also need to be able to find it relatively easily. This is so people looking through the webring can get to know your OCs.

2. You must have the webring widget on your site before submitting a form and it needs to be easy to find. If people can't find the widget then the ring breaks.

3. This webring is open to anyone who can put the widget for it on their page. Neocities, Nekoweb, Tumblr, Carrd, anything goes as long as I can find the widget.

4. If your site has NSFW content it MUST be behind a warning.

5. No promoting transphobia, homophobia, ableism, racism, or anything of the sort.

6. No AI art/writing at all. It goes against the spirit of what an OC is. This includes AI chatbots.

7. I reserve the right to decline applications or remove sites from the ring for any reason.

Before sending the form you must add one of the widgets to your site. Feel free to customize the widget by targeting #OCverse, as long as I can tell it's for this webring it's fine!

I'd recomend copying this and paste it into in the head section of your site if you can.

Fill out and email the form below to ZoranaTheDragon@Gmail.com once you've added the widget to your site! If you need to update information, please try to use the same email you used the first time and mention that in the notes.
